Plan-managed?
We make it easy.
Send us your plan manager's email. We do the rest — invoicing, follow-up, reports.
How plan-managed works at Speech Sprout
Plan-managed is the most common funding type we see. Your plan manager (e.g. My Plan Manager, Plan Tracker, Leap In) sits between you and the NDIA. We invoice them after each session. They pay us. They reconcile with the NDIA. You don't handle money.
To start, we just need your plan manager's billing email and your NDIS number. Most families get this from their support coordinator or directly from the plan manager's welcome email.
What the booking process actually looks like
- Free 15-minute call to check fit and confirm goals
- You send us the plan manager's email + NDIS number + plan dates
- We send the plan manager a service agreement (standard, you co-sign)
- Sessions begin — we invoice the plan manager after each one
- Reports issued in line with your plan review schedule
Line items we typically claim
- 15_056_0128_1_3 — Speech Pathology, in-clinic / in-home
- 15_621_0128_1_3 — Speech Pathology via telehealth
- 15_054_0128_1_3 — Communication assessment
- 15_052_0128_1_3 — Therapy assistant (where applicable)
All charged at NDIS Price Guide rates. We do not charge above the price guide.
Reports and plan reviews
We write plain-language progress reports timed to your plan review. They are strengths-based, identity-affirming, and written so the NDIA reviewer understands what the participant actually needs continuing funding for. We collaborate with your support coordinator if you have one.
What we do not do
We do not charge plan-managed clients more than self-managed or agency-managed clients. We do not bill non-face-to-face time without telling you first. We do not write deficit- framed reports designed to maximise funding by pathologising your kid.
